The lightning strikes
destroying the trees
hitting the tall
cutting them down
The thunder roars
loud and mean
Hear the growl
as it scares the weak
The rain falls hard
The lightning bruises the land
The storm passes over
Only to bring in sun
and we're left to put
the pieces back together
Untill the next storm
